A Good Bit About Me

I woke up this morning lying on my bed. I had just had the strangest dream ever. It was all about floating lights. I wished harder than ever that I could go and see them.

Even though it was still dark I got out of bed and went over to the window. I looked out and saw a huge sky, filled with stars. I sighed.

Mother made pancakes for breakfast today and I ate them over a book. I am kinda getting bored of my books. I only have three.

After breakfast I cleaned up my tower and then I to work painting things on my wall. It is getting very full by now, but I have nothing else to paint on.

Mother had to go out to get some more food and so I had full use of the tower. Me and Pascal played hide and seek together until we were so tired we could not run around any more. Anyhow by that time Mother had come home and I had to help her make some lunch of ham and salad. Yum! That is a big treat.

It is Mother's birthday tomorrow and so I started to sew her a bag for a present. I am not very good at sewing, but I want to give her the bag.

Well I have to go because I need to help Mother sew a new dress. Oh my I mus go, I am late. See you,

Hello!
I am Rapunzel. I live in a tower with Mother Gothel. I have lived with her my whole life and she has taught me everything I know.
I am not allowed outside. Mother says it is a dark and dangerous place out there, but I don't care, I want to go there and see the floating lights.
My only friend is Pascal. He is a chameleon. He is the best friend anyone could want. I play chess with him and bake. He is always with me.
I am only fourteen, but I am strong and I am sure that one day my one wish will come true: to see the floating lights.
